It’s perhaps a little confusing becuase Poco promised a new phone at the beginning of 2020, which turned out to be the Poco X2, not a follow-up to the Pocophone F1. Now the F2 is here and looks to be a strong contender for this year.

When is the Poco F2 Pro launch?

Poco’s launch event is on 12 May and it will take place at 1pm BST.

How do I watch the Poco F2 Pro live stream?

The live stream is embedded above so just come back at the right time and enjoy the show. You can watch it back or take a look at the official F2 Pro details including release date and price here.

What to expect

Although the F1 was incredible value for money, it looks like the F2 Pro will be more expensive. Rumours suggest a price of €649 with a higher-spec model at €749.

This means it will compete with flagships like the OnePlus 8 rather than mid-range devices such as the Pixel 3a (and soon to launch Pixel 4a).

The phone will be based on the Redmi K30 Pro (above) which means features such as a large AMOLED screen, a pop-up camera, high-end Qualcomm processor and no less than four rear cameras.

See below for a list of the possible specs but tune in later today for the official reveal.
