The event has been described to “flip the smartphone experience once again”, along with a GIF of a foldable phone. All of this combined with the fact that the Razr 2019 had numerous things to improve on points towards an updated version of the phone.

If you want to see the Moto Razr 2020 unveiled in its glory first, here’s everything we know about tuning into the event. We also have a similar article for the LG Wing virtual launch – a swivelling dual-screen smartphone.

How to watch the Moto Razr 2020 launch online

The Moto Razr 2020 reveal will be taking place on today on 9 September 2020, though we don’t know the exact timings. However, at the time of writing we don’t know for sure if the event is press only (hosted via Zoom or some other video conferencing software), or if it will be streamed live to the general public.

If it is the latter, then it’s likely to be streamed on Motorola’s YouTube channel, and possibly Facebook and Twitter. If we get confirmation that the event is being streamed publicly, we’ll drop an embedded link to the livestream in this article so you can watch along.

Motorola’s social channels have been quiet up until now, so we’re betting that this is a press only unveiling. However, it’s worth keeping an eye on the company’s social channels today just in case. If it’s not streamed to the general public, then we imagine Moto will make official announcements about the Razr 2 on their social media channels not long after 9 September.
