If you want to watch it in the UK, then there’s a couple of ways you can do so.

We’ve rounded up everything you need to know, including the UK terrestrial air date, and how you can stay up to date with the US scheduling as its released on Netflix US. We also have similar articles for watching Star Trek: Lower Decks in the UK, as well as how to stream upcoming movies such as Bill & Ted Face the Music and Mulan.

How to watch Pokémon Journeys on UK TV

In the UK, Pokémon Journeys will premiere on 1 September 2020 on the TV channel POP, which is available on Freesat 603, Sky 616, and Virgin Media 736.

It’s been a long wait for UK fans, as part 1 of the English dub has been out in the US since Summer, whilst the original Japanese version has been out since 2019.

As the US is ahead, UK Pokémon fans may be in danger of being spoilt – especially because part 2 is due to drop in the States. However, there is a way to stay up to date with America.

Watch Pokémon Journeys on Netflix US in the UK

Part 2 of Pokémon Journeys is due to drop on Netflix US on 11 September 2020. If you want to be the first to watch it, then all you need is a standard UK Netflix subscription and a VPN.

VPNs (virtual private networks) reroute your IP address so you can browse the internet anonymously, and as if you’re from another country. For watching Pokémon Journeys, you’d need to connect to a US server.

There are a few VPN options to choose from, but for competitive pricing and the best user experience we recommend either NordVPN or ExpressVPN. You can also try out some free VPN options, but these most likely won’t have enough servers to successfully stream Netflix US.

To access Netflix US, all you need to do is connect to a US VPN server and then sign into Netflix as you usually would. You should then see all of American Netflix’s library ready and waiting for you – including Pokémon Journeys when you search for it. You can find more details in our guide to watching American Netflix in the UK.

If you’ve not watched any of Pokémon Journeys, part 1 (the first twelve episodes) are ready to stream now. Part 2 (the next twelve episodes) will be available to stream on 11 September 2020.

If you’ve not yet got an account with Netflix, then you can sign up on the website for as little as £5.99 per month for the basic plan. You can find out which Netflix plan is best for you here.
