How to See Your Spotify Wrapped 2022 Insights
Spotify Wrapped 2022 rolled out on 30 November 2022. The feature provides insights on your favorite songs, podcasts, and listening habits for the past year, as well as global insights.
If you want to see your own Wrapped summary, you will have to use the Spotify Android or iOS app. Make sure you’ve updated your app to the latest version to receive your summary.
When your Wrapped experience is ready, you will see a Wrapped card on the homepage of your Spotify app. It will have your name and the text: “Your 2022 Wrapped is ready”. Tap on this and Spotify will take you through your 2022 insights.
Far from being a hidden Spotify feature, your Wrapped summary should appear quite prominently when it is ready.
What Do Your Spotify Wrapped Personalized Results Include?
Every year Spotify tweaks the Wrapped formula to show different insights to users. In 2022, the streaming service has introduced two new features: Your Listening Personality and Audio Day.
Your Listening Personality takes inspiration from the Myers-Briggs personality types, but instead of measuring traits like extraversion versus introversion, it looks at traits like familiarity versus exploration, loyalty versus variety, timelessness versus newness, and commonality versus uniqueness.
As Spotify states on For the Record:
Listening personalities included in the feature include The Adventurer, The Early Adopter, The Deep Diver, The Devotee, and more. There are 16 in total.
Meanwhile, Audio Day is an interactive story that tells you how your music taste changed during the day, split up into morning, midday, and evening listening periods. For example, you may enjoy somber, bittersweet music in the evenings, and pastel goth tunes in the mornings.
Other insights include your top artists, top albums, top genres, top podcasts, and remarks on your listening habits—such as how many times you listened to your favorite artists versus other users.
